Još kao dijete sam odlazila s roditeljima u Dalmaciju kod prijatelja i uvijek se veselila nekom čudnom jelu, kojem ime nisam mogla zapamtiti, ali okus se nije mogao zaboraviti!
I evo vam ga serviram baš onako kako je to znala teta Neli, jedan komad špikovan, a drugi čist u puno predivnog umaka, uz neizbježne domaće njoke! Uživajte!
Sastojci:
1,5 - 2 kg goveđeg (junećeg) frikandoa
Za špikovanje:
150 - 200 g pancete , 2-3 mrkve i 4-5 češnjaka
Za marinadu:
700 ml crnog vina, 200 ml vinskog octa, 2 lista lovora, grančica ružmarina, papar u zrnu, 4-5 klinčića,
2-3 mrkve, 5-6 režnjeva češnjaka, 2 crvena luka, 2-3 kriške celera (korijen)
I još:
1 -2 crvena luka, 5-6 suhih šljiva, 1 žlica šećera, 500 ml juhe (ili voda s kockom), sol, papar,1 žlica pirea ili koncentrata rajčice,2 žlice masti, malo muškatnog oraščića

Beef prepared Dalmatian way ( Dalmatian "Pašticada")
As a child I was traveling with my parents to Dalmatia to our friends and I was always looking forward to some strange dish, which name I could not remember but the taste could not be forgotten!
And here it is, I serve it to you just as the auntie Neli knew, one piece was spotted, and another clean in a very beautiful sauce, with inevitable homemade dumplings! Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1.5 - 2 kg beef ( fricandeau - aitchbone )
For meat:
150 - 200 g bacon, 2-3 carrots and 4-5 garlic
For marinade:
700 ml of black wine, 200 ml of vinegar, 2 bay leaf, rosemary, pepper, 4-5 cloves,
2-3 carrots, 5-6 garlic cloves, 2 onions, 2-3 celery slices (root)
And more:
1 - 2 onions, 5-6 dried plums, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 500 ml of soup (or water), salt, pepper,
1 tablespoon of puree or tomato concentrate, 2 tablespoons of fat or 2 dl oil, little nutmeg
